This is a Photographic project which explores the more personal aspects of how religion can define large aspects of our identity. 

 

Initially, this project looked at investigates the wider aspects of church and identity however I developed my practice to focus upon the specific relationship that my mother has with the church. This piece of work is current and contemporary in the way it addresses the debate surrounding the role of women within the organisation of a church.
